If I had to pick my favorite show of 2026, it would be Duang With You. I watched Your Sky while it was airing, followed by the Your Sky of Us special, so I was familiar with Por and was learning about TeeTee. I only watched DMD Friendship after watching Duang With You, so my only impression of their chemistry as a pairing was through Your Sky. I liked Punlee and Glaijai well enough, but nothing could’ve prepared me for how explosive Duang and Qin would be. I prefer to watch shows while they’re airing, but with a two week delay so I’m never left with a cliffhanger. With Duang, I waited until the hour it dropped to watch each episode and would rewatch the episode throughout the week. Every episode came with joy, even the ones that were harder to watch. During its 12 week run I would always smile when thinking about Saturdays and I can’t wait for Domundi to announce a special (PLEASE).

The main point of the show was for Duang to win over Qin, yet that happened so quickly that by the end I forgot it wasn’t just a show about their lives as a couple. In the beginning, Duang was respectful of Qin when trying to win him over. He would learn more about him so that he could put better effort into his advances. When they got together, Duang didn’t change. I believe that showing Duang with his friends before meeting Qin established his personality as something that was separate from his affection towards Qin. He could be his bubbly self and still be loving towards Qin. Duang and Qin had an incredibly healthy relationship, with open communication throughout the show. Even when they had conflicts (such as with the camera), they were handled quickly and correctly with minimal drama. I believe that’s why the show landed so well. In 12 episodes, the majority of the show was fun and cringy (in the best way possible) with minimal stress. The main point of contention was with Qin’s past, but it was handled in a very fulfilling way. I appreciated how Duang was there to support Qin during his conversation with his parents, bringing healing to the family. The subsequent scenes at Qin’s home and the healthy communication that followed prove Duang is the greenest flag to ever green-flag, while still being incredibly mature. I don’t think that Duang’s showing of affection downplayed his emotional maturity, but rather showed that even after winning Qin’s love he still felt the same. It was never about just falling in love but maintaining the relationship with mutual respect.

Their characters balanced each other perfectly, because Qin was not just stoic and detached. He was showing a clear emotional response to the way he was treated in childhood, both the abuse from his nanny and neglect from his parents. Having a constant figure in his life who he knew wouldn’t hurt or leave him for expressing his emotions brought out a better side of him, and he was constantly smiling at the end of the show. It wasn’t just a front; it was a raw and honest reaction to the way he was raised. Their relationship is truly special and Por and TeeTee did an amazing job at portraying their characters, as well as their chemistry. I downloaded Twitter for the first time in my life to see their live tweets during the airing of the show (I was obsessed), as well as to read what other people were saying about PorTeeTeePor. It’s hilarious seeing the switch from LeeGlai to DuangQin, so I can’t wait to see what they do next with their unmistakable synergy as partners.

Another special part of Duang was the friendships. The friendship between Duang, Jamie, and Pae reminded me of Arm’s trio from Perfect 10 Liners. Especially at the beginning of the show, their scenes introduced a lighter tone to the plot with their jokes and banter. They would help Duang with his attempts to get close to Qin, no matter how ridiculous his ideas were. They even contributed to the madness (such as with Pae’s alter ego Cherry). Regardless, Jamie and Pae continued to encourage Duang while teasing him for his behaviors. Even when they had conflict, it was handled in a positive way. When Jamie and Duang would argue, Pae would urge them to communicate with each other. Their communication was honest and made their conflicts quick, instead of being drawn out (which would’ve been contradictory to the characters’ personalities). Their friendship remained an important part of the story, even when Duang began dating Qin. This also spoke to Duang’s character, being able to prioritize both his relationship and his friends.

Jamie and Pae were not only Duang’s friends, but also characters with their own stories and interests. More prominently shown was Jamie and his relationship with Marvis. I liked Jamie and Marvis as the second couple; however, I think their characters were more important in gauging future interest in them as a pairing (particularly after seeing their pilot for Into Racha). They had great chemistry, but their scenes seemed so disconnected from the plot itself, especially since Jamie had a role in the plot outside of their relationship while Marvis did not. Despite this, their plotline tied together nicely at the end when Jamie introduced Marvis to his friends. I enjoyed their storyline and am excited to see more from them. Furthermore, Pae and Tong’s scenes throughout the series have led to a lot of public focus on TheeWave, so I’m looking forward to what they decide to do in future projects (including DMD Friendship season 6).

I adored how Duang and Qin’s friend groups joined by the end of the show, proving the importance of friendship in their lives and as a significant part of the plot. Friendship contributed to the humor and fun of the show, making it an irreplaceable part of Duang With You. I loved the relationships in the show, but without the trios Duang and Qin wouldn’t have gotten together nor had an opportunity to grow in their relationship. While Jamie and Pae had an important role in helping Duang, Kim and Tong also helped in their own ways. Without Kim and Tong providing Duang and his friends information about Qin or alerting them to his whereabouts, Duang and Qin’s relationship wouldn’t have progressed as quickly. It went to show that Qin’s friends believed Duang was a good fit for their friend and wanted Qin to be happy. Even though one trio was shown more, Qin’s relationship with his friends was also entertaining and humorous. The healthy and lighthearted friendships in Duang With You were one of the main reasons I loved the show, and I would rewatch just to listen to their banter again.

Overall, I highly recommend this show to anyone who wants to laugh, cringe, and be happy. Duang and Qin had a youthful love that laid the foundation for a lifetime of happiness. I could see them making it in the long run because they had thoughtful conversations, supported each other through difficult times and dealt with conflict maturely. I appreciated both characters and how TeeTee and Por portrayed them, especially TeeTee. His energy radiated through the screen, with moments that make you want to tear your eyes out, yet smile at the same time. I never felt that he was overdoing it, because his actions made sense with Duang’s character. He was lively and romantic, but very serious when necessary. He was the perfect balance for Qin, bringing out the best in him. I’m excited for the future of PorTeeTeePor and think they will have a loyal audience to support them in their future endeavors.
